Sarah Nicholson's PhD     “In the footsteps of the heroine: the journey to Integral Feminism” was submitted through the University of Western Sydney. She has been a Visiting Scholar at York University (Canada) and the Australian National University, and was an Adjunct Faculty member for Integral Institute’s Women’s Integral Life Practice seminar in 2005. 

 Sarah has an extensive background as both an HSC and ESL Tutor and teaches in the field of religion and culture at U.W.S. She is currently the Research Project Co-ordinator for an Australian Research Council funded study on PhD writing at Sydney University.

As well as publishing and presenting academic research both  nationally and internationally, Sarah has been a published poet for over ten years. She was awarded the Ian Potter Cultural Trust Fellowship for Literature  in 2004.
