Welcome from the Software and Service User Group, Inc.
It’s time to sign up for the semi-annual Software and Service User Group Conference supporting Skyward customers to be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 2–3, 2012, at the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells.
We are excited about the conference and we hope you are too! All users must register online – one user per registration – and are required to pick their topic for each session when they register. Agendas with room assignments are now available on our website. We are offering over 150 topics during 11 different sessions. Register now – a late registration fee will be charged after Friday, March 23. Now is the time to fine tune your skills on Skyward’s web product.
As in the past, a full breakfast is included in the conference price on both Monday and Tuesday mornings. In an effort to alleviate the long buffet lines at lunch, we are offering three new sit-down meal choices for lunch on Monday, also included in the conference price. You will be required to make a lunch choice when you register for the conference and it will be served to you at your table – what a time saver this will be. More time to collaborate with neighboring districts!
Lunch choices are:
Roasted Top Sirloin – Ultra slow-roasted, medium top sirloin is layered over caramelized garlic scallion mashed potatoes, draped with port wine demi-glace and accompanied by glazed green beans and carrots, cookie for dessert.
Herb Roasted Chicken – Seasoned with subtle aromatics, roasted and accompanied by savory country sausage stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes veloute, steamed green beans and cranberry glazed carrots, cookie for dessert.
Grilled and Chilled Margarita Chicken Wrap – Margarita marinated chicken breast is grilled and chilled, wrapped in a flour tortilla with pepper-jack cheese, green onion, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato and cilantro lime mayonnaise. Includes condiments, pasta salad, fresh whole fruit, potato chips, dill pickle, cookie and mint candy.
If you will be bringing a spouse or guest to the conference who wishes to eat meals with you, there will be a $50.00 fee to be paid at the Registration Booth on Monday morning. Your guest will be able to make their lunch choice at that time.
The Kalahari is now booked for the conference dates. You may wish to try Ramada Wisconsin Dells (608-254-2218), Holiday Inn Express (608-253-3000), or the Grand Marquis (608-254-4843) if you still need a room.
Don’t wait – sign up for the conference today! It’s a great place to learn about Skyward’s features, get a look at the new SMS 2.0 user interface, learn how to become more efficient with its use, and network with fellow Skyward users. What a fantastic opportunity to be in one place with so many people who have so much in common!
See you there!
