The Blades98 play in the Delgado league - part of the Northern California Youth Soccer Organisation. This is their first season as a team and they have performed fantastically this Fall to finish in 3rd place with the 2nd best defence in the league :

For Spring 2009 the game moves to 11 a side from 8 a side so we are looking to add players.

 Where did we get the name "The Blades" ? Sheffield United FC, one of the oldest clubs in the world, play in SASC colors. Sheffield was the home of the steel industry in the UK and was thus associated with the manufacture of steel items such as knives and swords ( or Blades ). Sheffield United's nickname is the Blades and their emblem contains overlapping Blades
