I believe that every student has the right to an equal education in an environment that is safe, caring, and risk free.  As a teacher, I have the responsibility to ensure an atmosphere that emphasizes mutual respect, teamwork, honesty, integrity, and an appreciation and understanding of diversity.  I will strive to motivate, challenge, and inspire my students to continually reach higher, while instilling a confidence in them that promotes individuality, entrepreneurship, innovation, and a thirst for lifelong learning.
