About

Professionally, I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Grand Valley State University. My research interests are in the area of graph theory, in particular, extremal and structural problems. While research is something I love to do, teaching is part of who I am. For more info on either of these topics, feel free to look through my website or check out my CV.

In the real world, I'm a husband, father of six, and a huge sports fan. You'll see lots of pictures throughout my website (sorry if pages load slowly!). I tried to choose pictures that have stories behind them; something that when I look at them, I smile and remember.

I was also an organizer for the 58th MIdwestern GrapH TheorY Conference that was hosted at GVSU on October 6 - 7, 2017.   For more information and links to recorded versions of the two plenary talks given by Doug West and David, see the conference website:http://www.gvsu.edu/math/mighty-lviii/
