Present Job Responsibilities – overall administration of Library of a college having 4500 students. Library automation along with bar code technology within two years. I am doing the job of reference services, documentation, indexing, reporting, ordering and acquisition of books and subscription of periodicals(print +online), collection development of library resources, Classification, Cataloguing. Web designing and overall library development, efforts to develop students’ interest in reading, organizing book exhibitions and lectures, spreading the message of importance of book reading through posters with pictures and quotations, Book review competitions for readers, taking care of amenities and facilities for the readers in the library. Digital library setup and information literacy amongst students and staff.
