Every Pleo is autonomous. Like any creature, Pleo feels hunger and fatigue, offset by powerful urges to explore and be nurtured. He'll graze, nap and toddle about on his own.

It is very rare that Business-n-Pleasure go well together. At least for the Juniors, for some years their only Business is to Learn and improve their Cognition levels. Souptoys Desktop Toys is one such Edutainment Toy. Learning and Fun, never integrated better. Some mechanical concepts, Physics, General Knowledge and Creativity will certainly improve with this. The kids will not progress with war games, action games or games that foster sensations and ignore skills. These are dominant in the scene. Big firms in competition and ambition forget social responsibility. The result, the kids mind deteriorates and any interest in real life will diminish. He will start interacting with the world around, like he does in a game; the consequences, not very pleasant. Restrict the pocket money to your children, teach them to work, not play. Let them not waste their childhood in these perversions. The human evolution will stop and society descend into chaos. These not only apply to games it applies to all forms of entertainment. The child is the inheritor of the earth we leave behind. his mind, the only asset. (I may ham a bit to help emphasize the seriousness of an issue. Nevertheless do not take your kids life lightly) |

Lazy Jack goes out to work, but he's not used to earning a
living, and he gets into all sorts of muddles.
This old English story, collected by James Halliwell Orchard
Phillips, is a good fireside yarn. If you know the story of the Golden
Goose, you might see some similarities. It has a nice repeating
structure, and by the end of it, you will probably agree with Jack's
mother, that he's not the cleverest of lads. -- Read by Natasha.

Childsplay Educational games
Childsplay is a suite of educational games for young children, like gcompris, but without the overkill of c/c++ and the gnome environ.
Also the use of the SDL libraries makes smooth animation and the playing of sound very easy. Childsplay uses a plugin system for the
games.
Tested on GNU/Linux, FreeBSD and the Windows platforms. (98/ME/2K/XP).
Childsplay is a fun and save way to let young children use the computer
and at the same time teach them a little math, letters of the alphabet,
spelling, eye-hand coordination etc |

category.
Currently GCompris offers in excess of 100 activities and more are being developed. GCompris is free software, that means that you can
adapt it to your own needs, improve it and, most importantly, share it with children everywhere.
