Sand Point Sail was developed in an attempt to aid
communication for local radio control sailors.

It is now the Official web site for
Sand Point Model Sailing Club.

The local fleet is a group of mutually-supportive
 competitive sailors who race their radio-controlled model
Soling  One Meters and Footies together,
on Sand Point Park Lake on a regular basis to:

1. encourage friendly competition;
2. improve the skills of individual sailors;
3. improve the knowledge of the fleet;
4. provide basic R/C sail boat racing instruction;
5. learn and abide by the Racing Rules of Radio Control Sailing;
6. promote excellence in tuning, handling and racing model sail boats;
7. promote growth of the class.

My primary objective is to make information available
to local sailors, create a space to post messages and have fun.
I hope I have been able to create something that is useful,
and promoting to the sport of Radio Control Sailing.
I will do my best to assist members of the club in keeping
club information current and up to date.
