UPDATE:

Jared & Antonetta have found both bodies of their sons and buried them together next to their Grandparents, Sonny & Metita. Antonetta is still suffering from an injured foot and is still being treated for infection in the hospital. We have sent over $5,500 already which helped with the funerals and have another $3,500 already raised! Thank you for your generosity! Every dollar counts, as they lost everything in the Tsunami and need to start over from scratch.

On the morning of September 29th, 2009, an earthquake struck 125 miles off the coast of Western and American Samoa. Within minutes, a 20 foot high Tsunami hit the islands, devastating and destroying entire villages, and taking the lives of 4 family members with it.

 Uncle Sonny & Aunt Metita Schwalger and their 2 very young grandchildren, ages 1 and 2 (the only children of Sonny's son Jared Schwalger and his wife Antonetta) were all tragically killed.

Our condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to the families.
