- Fuenfschilling: Good hangout place with local fresh seasonal food and wine, fun noisy atmosphere, nice farmer's market shop. Only if you want to be around alot of people:
- Ochsen: Gourmet restaurant in a quiet setting. Finely decorated interior, wait staff wear traditional Dirndls. Beautiful garden for dining outdoors in spring and summer. Nestled in the Eggenertal valley that has THE most beautiful blossoming fruit trees in spring of anywhere in the region, peaks in mid-April.

- Kreiterhof Weinschenke Egerten, Wollbacher Str. 1, 79400 Kandern-Egerten: Interesting local Restaurant. Simple food in a nice out-door setting
