Finally, Samuel has released his 5th official soaking worship album, Dreams of Grace.  This album is a bit different from all his previous soaking albums, in that while the other ones are instrumental collaborations with other anointed musicians, this album is solely Samuel playing all the instruments (electric violin and electric guitar) and singing!     

The concept behind this album, is for Samuel to record "live" in the studio (no 2nd takes!), a session of him worshipping on his electric guitar, and singing both written choruses and spontaneous songs.  And then, for Samuel to come back later, and record his electric violin "live" along with the guitar/vocals tracks (with friends present worshipping and praying during the set, just like a regular worship gathering).  Happily, everything went according to plan.  Praise God!  And the live, spontaneous sound of Samuel's worship was captured beautifully on Dreams of Grace.

So when you hear the recording, it sounds as if the guitar, violin, and vocals are all "live" at the same time, when it is actually 2 live sessions blended together, with Samuel playing and singing everything.  Samuel's intent for Dreams of Grace is to record the various soaking worship "flows" that he has been playing and singing over the past years.  Though there are "songs" on the recording, the songs are not as prominent as the "flows," where the spontaneous singing and improvisational violin solos take center stage.  The entire album is like a launching pad that propels the listener into a deeper encounter with God, into an intimate experience with His love.

Special thanks to Jeremy Reimherr, who recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced this album; and to May Ridaliste, who designed and co-produced the CD as well.  Samuel would also like to thank the praying and worshipping friends who added wonderfully to the recording by their presence at the live violin recording session--Marilee Eckert and Hyoyoung Kee.  Their spiritual support and prayers were greatly needed.  Thank God for their significant contribution!

And most of all, Samuel thanks Father God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, for making this music album a reality.  It was birth and accomplished by the grace of God, for His glory.  Amen!
