I am interested in family issues among lesbian, gay and bisexual populations. In particular, I want to learn more about family formation and family processes among same-sex partners. I am very interested in gay fathers, and I am beginning to study the role of fathers in children's development, with a special emphasis on the role of parental sexual orientation. I hope that my research can add to knowledge as well as have an impact on public policy.
