The Salt Lake Christmas Tour was formed in 1985 as the Heritage Quest Christmas Tour. Owned by Leland & Patty Meitzler, of Family Roots Publishing Company, the tour continues to this day as the Salt Lake Christmas Tour. Now in its 36th year, the tour has attendance anywhere between 65 and 115 attendees per year. Known for its high ratio per attendee of professional researchers working as helpers every year, the tour also has one of the highest "return" rates of any tour to the Family History Library.
