This one day workshop under the chairmanship of Dr. R. N. Bhargava, Nanocrystals Technology USA will be held on 12^th February, 2008. This work shop is aimed for young and new research works in the filed of luminescence. The workshop will have several experts discuss in detail the ‘Science and Technology of Phosphors (including nanophosphors) that are used in displays and lighting products. How the science of engineering of phosphors is carried out for different display devices like TV, PDP and  lighting products as well as for the next generation high efficiency products will be presented.
