Hard-line policy from some high school coaches on participating with summer tournament teams during the High School Season makes it tough for those summer teams to gel.

This was hard for me to understand at first glance, but after some thought I have to side with the coaches.

"What!" you say. Yes as a coach, your focus should be on the current team, the policy will be good for the player transitioning to their summer tournament teams. 

So I leave it up to our players to communicate with each other, review changes on our website, and maintain a focus on Family, School, and Softball.

Now everyone who has pitching lessons, hitting lessons, and a place to improve their skills, such as cage time should take advantage of those opportunities, with no outside influence from the tournament team.
