| RESCUE is a national award-winning vocal group based out of Portland, Oregon. Their unique and captivating style brings people of all ages into a worshipful and entertaining arena. As an extension of their singing ministry, RESCUE has recorded and released 6 albums. They are a non-profit organization. Touring extensively, RESCUE is regularly featured on television and radio. As the Lord continues to open doors of opportunity, they look forward to further sharing their music in every corner of the globe. Since founding RESCUE in 1997, Director Jason Overstreet contin- ues to invest his time writing and arranging RESCUE’s music and overseeing all aspects of RESCUE in order to maintain the stability and consistency of music ministry. God has bestowed incredible musical ability upon Jason and other vocalists Brian Sell, Steve Cross, Jay McKenney, Chris Benjamin and Brandon Bell, all of whom have an intense and focused passion for HIM. They feel both hum- bled and honored that God has cho- sen them to be used in this ministry. Highlights: Recognition: CASA Awards (Contemporary Acappella Society of America) – three-time award winner. • Their latest release, Before the Throne, was chosen as the 2008 CARA “Religious Album of the Year.” “Unleashed,” was voted 2008 runner-up for “Religious Song of the Year.” • “2000 Years Ago” was voted CARA “Religious Song of the Year” in 1999. Independent Music Awards – Voted two-time Best Contemporary Christian Artist. Appeared at: Fiji Fest, Promise Keepers, World Vision, Focus on the Family, Creation West and Spirit West Coast Festivals, MusiCalifornia, Missions Fest, ACSI conventions (Association of Christian Schools International), the National Church Music Conference and hundreds of other events.
