His father is Derek (learns this at the beginning of the Clone Wars) History: Connor Makoto is the son of a Jedi woman who was attacked and then raped by Derek. When she found out she was carrying the child she fled from the Jedi Order and lived in the high crime areas of Coruscant. During childbirth her friend Master Talon Zakira, the only one who knew of her state, came to help her. She died in the end. Zakira took Connor to the Jedi Temple hoping the Council would accept the Force sensitive baby. For the majority of his childhood the Council watched him closely. Eventually Zakira took him on as his padawan, however the Council doubted he would become a Jedi Knight (having a Sith father). Master Talon molded Connor into a well-disciplined Jedi who was strong in the Force and with every lightsaber combat style. Connor preferred to use Juyo. The Council was pleased to see that he passed his trials and was strong in the light side of the Force. He was well on his way to be a powerful master of the Force like his mother. Connor was twenty-three when he became a respected General of the Clone Wars. He fought several battles in space destroying Separatist warships and bases. During the last half of the war he started leading ground assaults to free various systems under the control of the Separatists. Sakiko joined his group and together they moved in to fight the Immortal Battle. During Order 66 he was exploring the forest of a strange planet and overheard the order given. Quickly he made his escape before his troops found him. He fled to Kashyyyk for a time then jumped from planet to planet and eventually stayed on Alderaan with Derek. For years Sakiko had been trying to track him down and eventually Connor let himself be found. When they met he found out that the new obnoxiously cocky padawan of Isaiah’s was their daughter Sova. Connor stayed by Sakiko’s side throughout the Rebellion and worked as an Imperial officer and Stormtrooper while they spied on the Death Star. When the Empire fell he lurked on Yavin 4 for a few years to be a mentor. For what ever reason he left to go his own way again. Connor took his place as an Assassin Lord and left his Jedi self behind to be awakened when the time called. The New Jedi Order began to crumble and the Sith rose up to rule the Galaxy again. In the Assassins Council room he contemplated being a Jedi again. He had long lost his full connection to the Force, but a small tremor or Sakiko calling him for help made him take up the Jedi arts again, however he would now struggle with the temptation of the dark side. And this would not be Connor’s last adventure. He, too, had the gift on long ageless life. By the time the Legacy Era came about he looked like he was in his early thirties but was really pushing 200 years old. After Sakiko’s death he continued to lead the rebellion she started with Derek at his side. He worked so hard to destroy the One Sith Order but was later overrun by Sith as he knelt over Sakiko’s grave. He let them kill him, for he had lost the strength to carry on. It wasn’t the same without Sakiko at his side. |
