Elisha Hartings, Director of the Bands
Mrs. Hartings is currently in her 9th year at St. Henry Schools. She graduated from Warren Local High School in Vincent, Ohio near Marietta, Ohio. In 2002, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. Her primary instrument is the clarinet. While at Kent State, Mrs. Hartings was involved in a number of activities including: Delta Omicron Professional Music Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi National Honor Fraternity, Golden Key National Honor Society, and the Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association. Mrs. Hartings is currently a member of the Lima Area Concert Band. She resides in St. Henry with her husband, Dan.
Linda Knapke, Assistant Director of the Bands
Mrs. Knapke is currently in her 11th year at St. Henry Schools. This is her 3nd year as Assistant Band Director. Mrs. Knapke graduated in 1976 from Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Ohio. In 1978, she graduated from Columbus Technical Institute (now Columbus State College) with an accounting degree. Mrs. Knapke resides in St. Henry with her husband, Ed, and her children, Brian (22), Kyle (19), Lisa (18), Kevin (16), and Scott (13). |
