About Our Flying SitesSouth Australia has coastal sites within 2 hours south of Adelaide that provide wonderful summer and winter flying, and inland sites with outstanding cross-country potential within 2 hours north of Adelaide. Tow paddocks on private property north and east of Adelaide provide further opportunities, and there are spectacular sites elsewhere in the state too.
We love to welcome all interstate and overseas visitors, but new arrivals PLEASE!, before visiting the sites you MUST contact a local person to clear it (see our main page for the contact numbers) , as all but a few of our sites are on private property (someone else’s back yard) and may require keys or daily permission from the owners to fly there. Restrictions on access vary with; fire ban, lambing and cropping seasons, weather dependant roads and other local issues, and flying and landing restrictions may apply. Site ratings also vary, with some launches being Advanced only, or requiring supervision of novice pilots at certain times (eg high tide)
