Paragliding Equipment

To learn PG it is recommended that you start with a XX wing

  • Cost to Buy New Equipment
  • Buying new equipment is nice but not essential, if you do then
    • A new glider would cost $4000
    • A new harness would cost $1000
  • Remember that a glider and a harness will give you enough to fly for a long time.  As your flying becomes more extensive you may wish to purchase more equipment

    • Instrumentation such as altimeters variometers, gps systems, radios, etcetera ( you can go to town on these) but they will not initially be needed

    • A secondhand harness would cost $450
