Hello, my name is Jacob Sagrans and I am a Ph.D. student in musicology at McGill University in Montreal. My scholarly interests center around early music and its reception and music in relation to gender and sexual identity. As an undergrad I went to Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with concentrations in music history and classical vocal performance. In addition to music, I am interested in economics, education, the environment, and dance.
