A Catholic Church with a Sense of Community
The National Catholic Church is a sister Church. The PNCC proper consists of the Church in the United States and Canada as well as a small Church is Norway. For more information see:
Many parishes have special programs for music, families and youth. The Liturgy is found in three Rites of the Mass:
- Contemporary - a more solemnized (formal) version of the Novus Ordo
- Traditional - a Tridentine version of the rite said in English, and easy to follow.
- Bishop Hodur's Rite - a Tridentine rite with additional scriptural references (all said in English)
Certain Parishes offer Exposition and Benediction at the end of Mass on the first Sunday of the month and Vespers on Sundays. Parishes also provide a different array of seasonal devotions (i.e.: Renewals, Stations, Bitter Lamentations, Marian, Rosary, Sacred Heart, Precious Blood).
Our parish at Sacred Heart has a strong sense of community with both the members and surrounding communities alike. We are a Catholic community that has been in existence since 1897. As a family oriented community of believers, we welcome those who share our traditional catholic beliefs to consider becoming members of our Diocesan and Church family. We are continually forming new Parish committees, Bible Study groups and other faith-based ministries... won't you join us to "come and see"?
