So Pilate said to him, "Then you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say I am a king. For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice." - Jn 18:37
A PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING As we gather around the table on this Thanksgiving day, let us be mindful of the gifts we have, and pray for those who have so much less.
Heavenly Father, As we gather today with family and friends we give thanks to you for all your blessings. We thank you for the gift of health, of a warm home and people who love us. We ask you to bless those who are serving in harm's way and keep them safe so that they soon may return to the safety of family. We ask you to be with those who do not have the comforts that we take for granted - the poor, the homeless, the unemployed. We thank you for the gift of your Son, Jesus. We thank you for the food that we share today and ask you to bless it and those who prepared it. We ask all these things through your Son, Jesus Christ, in unity with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you to all who came and congratulations to all who won some terrific prizes.
