2011/2012  Musician Lineup:

October 7th - Linda Wilson and Mary Nelson will kick things off with guitar and fiddle.  Expect plenty of songs & dances - new & old favorites


October 14th - 
No school

October 21st -  Zum Gali and The Frog Song with Linda and Mary

October 28th - Witches, monster mash, and freaky minor scales with Linda and     Stephen.  And - meet the melodica!

November 4th - 
Banjo Bash with Linda

November 18thLinda and Mary - Turkey music

December 2nd -  Sacajawea parent Maxine Eilander will introduce us to the harp!

December 18thTomptens and other winter fun with Mary and Linda

January 6thSongs and games from Japan with Linda.  The theme is tea!

January 13thRubber Ducky, Marching to the Freedom Land and more with Linda.  Special friends: Recording King Guitar, May Bell Banjo and Rubber Duckie

January 27thMary will lead singing and dancing with her fiddle and ukulele.  New special friend, Bird, will be in attendance to lead a dance.

February 3rd - Special guest Sheree Seretse will bring dancing games from Zimbabwe.

February 10th - Favorite songs and dances with Linda and Mary, and the First Graders will sing at the Stratford Home at 1:30.

February 17th - Linda and her guitar lead songs of frogs, buffalos and ducks

March 2nd
- Sacajawea personalities Kim Sobie and Stephen Hebert will sing a silly song or two and help each class write a song

March 9th - Grasshopper Day with Linda and Mary. 

March 23rd - Special guests from One World Taiko Drummers will entertain and teach.

March 30th
- scales, songs and dances with Linda 

April 6th
- Chickens and eggs with Linda and Mary. 

April 13th - The Nipa Hut song and fun with rhythm sticks with Linda and Kim 

April 27th  - A visit from the Small Time String Band, a family band from Seattle, who's kids will skip school so we can meet them!  Look them up!  http://www.smalltimestringband.com/Smalltime_String_Band/Home.html

May 4th - The Octave Violin, the Magic Forest and more - with Linda and Mary

May 11th - Practicing for Arts Festival and other fun - with Linda and Mary

May 18th - Arts Festival final practice and other fun with Linda

May 25th - Tinikling with Linda and Stephen

June 1st - TBA

June 7th (Thurs) - Room 102 visits The Stratford Retirement Home at 1:45

Elena DeLisle-Perry has resumed teaching piano and guitar lessons for
students 5 years old to adult in Shoreline; group lessons possible, too.

Mary Nelson has excelled as a musician and a teacher for many years.  She

teaches technique for violin and fiddle to all ages in a gentle and encouraging way.
