There is no cost to use this program, yet it makes money for our school. The Scrip program allows you to make purchases in stores with scrip cards or online with the E-scrip online mall. Sacajawea earned $10,000 last year through scrip sales. If you buy food, clothes, books, music, gifts, or coffee you should be buying
scrip!
How Scrip Cards/ Certificates Work: Scrip is a gift card or gift certificate from participating grocery stores and area retailers including PCC, QFC, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Starbucks, Café Javasti, iTunes, Sand Point Grill, and more (watch for Holiday Scrip coming in October). The Sacajawea PTA purchases Scrip from merchants in bulk, at a discount. The PTA then sells the Scrip to you at face value. The school gets a percentage of the scrip value ranging from 5% to 10% per dollar spent. How Can I Participate?
With E-Scrip: Want to contribute and still use your credit card? E-scrip is the answer for you.
SCRIP makes a great gift and 5% of the purchase price goes to Sacajawea at no extra cost to you! And now through December 10th you can purchase additional scrip cards for the Holidays!
