Tuesday After School Program
The PTA is thrilled to currently offer a variety of after-school enrichment classes on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:05 p.m. Each session runs approximately 5-6 weeks. The classes are offered by local businesses and parent volunteers and range in price from FREE (thanks to parent volunteers) to $100+ per session. Some of the classes we regularly offer include: Spanish, ceramics, karate, jewelry making, drawing, and lego engineering. If you have a special skill or talent that you could share with a group of kids, please consider teaching an afterschool class as a volunteer.
Parent Volunteers can help to make this program viable by teaching affordable classes that keep our costs low. If you need financial assistance please check with Ki Pemberton klpemberton@seattleschools.org or 206-252-5576 (#2). The PTA is not currently able to offer scholarships but there are a few instructors that offer a private scholarship and she can assist you with this. Your request for assistance must be made at the time of registration.
