Welcome to SACODEN's new website. In light of a world economic climate that is even more challenging, it's time for us to again rely on our friends to help us develop a web site that is able to do an even better job of communicating what we are challenged with here in Nairobi, serving Kibera's poorest and most vulnerable children.  We have also implemented Our Wish List to communicate some of the things we need in support of those programs and projects. We have also added a Pledges page, a Contact Us page, and a Join Us/Newsletter page so that you can join our e-mail list, so you can get to know more about us through our newsletter and through what we do. Kenya's children and their caregivers need our help more than ever. The AIDS/HIV epidemic continues to rage on. It is creating many orphaned and homeless children with many, many needs. From food and shelter, and protection, to an education that can help change their lives not only of these children, but also their caregivers, taking on this challenge, would be impossible if were not for other human beings who continue to reach out to us and help, responding to our communications and some of our needs. | What a wonderful feeling it is when we actually experience the impact that giving can have in the lives of these wonderful children. With help and support, they are developing as fine persons and as tomorrow's leaders...right now.. right before our eyes, so thank you very much for supporting us in being able to provide for the needy children of Kibera.
