The mission of SACNAS SJSU (Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science) is to encourage students to pursue undergraduate and graduate education and obtain the advanced degrees necessary for research, leadership, and teaching careers at all levels

National Chapter of The Year
The National Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science recognized all of our efforts in the 2009 academic year by selecting SACNAS SJSU as a National Chapter of The Year. We were recognized at the 2010 National Conference in Anaheim, CA.
