What is Saaral?... Our
society today struggles to provide for the impoverished sections of the
population, especially orphaned children and the aged poor, who
increasingly find themselves bereft of support systems to rely upon. Saaral
(a Tamil word meaning "drizzle", reminiscent of gentle rain on parched
land) comprises young students and professionals who unite to work for
the upliftment of the marginalized and downtrodden in society. We in a community called Saaral are helping the needy and disabled hearts in and around chennai. So far we have completed eight visits successfully by the favor of donating hands and by the active partners of our community. Our mission: We are actively involved in social charitable work for the downtrodden of society in satisfying their basic needs providing food, clothes, medical supplies, emotional nourishment & we aim to provide the elderly with a comfortable, loving environment to spend their golden years in dignity.
Our vision:
Our vision is to develop a self-sustaining community consisting of old age & children's home, school and other facilities that make a successful community.
