THE PROPOSAL
Ryan proposed on Dec. 16th 2006, our 4 year anniversary. He had a whole day planned out with activities that ended with a fancy dinner at Greystone's Steakhouse in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. He caught me totally off guard when he dropped to one knee with a ring after dessert and popped the question. Obviously I said yes, and he slipped the ring on with the whole team of waiters watching in the back. Luckily, there was a friendly table nearby who snapped a few pictures when they saw what was going on and sent them to us via e-mail! Neat!

The Site
We were married on Sunday, August 24th of 2008 at the Lindley-Scott House in Azusa, CA. The ceremony took place outside under the lovely trees, and the reception will took place in the estate's Carriage House. Mr Williford constructed a beautiful and sturdy stage that we were able to stand on with Pastor Kim and it really completed the whole ceremony. Thanks to Melina's parents for coming up with the thought and contacting Mr Williford who made it happen in record time :)

Flowers & Centerpieces
(pictures will be here soon!) Kate Baker was our floral designer and gave us some great ideas that we hadn't thought of yet, so we were happy to be working with her. She made the most beautiful arrangements, and there were more flowers all over than I ever thought I would see!
We made little "ponds" as part of the centerpieces. They came out better than our original idea of this one ------------------------------------------------>

Invitations & Save the Date cards
Done and ordered! yay! We decided on something similar to both of these ideas..
It opens this way.... but the set up is this way- pocket type...
Still have to take a picture and put it up :)
We used VistaPrint to send out our save the date cards, and I think I did a pretty good job color matching and getting all our favorite engagement pics on there, if I do say so myself!!
Its a postcard style :) the back is blank so that's where the addresses went!
