To All Players and Parents, On Friday September 18 th, the varsity team will be traveling to Lebanon, KY for the Marion County Classic. The tournament will feature four boys teams, and four girls teams from the same school. The players will be paired up in groups of four to a room for the overnight stay. We will be staying at The Hampton Inn on Friday September 18 th. The players are required to stay with the team. No player will be allowed to leave the overnight trip early. The players need to remember to bring money for food that isn’t provided for the weekend. I will provide the players with pizza after the game on Friday night, and the hotel has a continental breakfast for Saturday morning. They will need lunch and dinner money for Saturday night. Parents: I need to know who is going to be able to help transport players, and how many players you can take so that we can help cover rides for all the players. The tentative schedule for the weekend will be: Friday September 18: 6:15 pm All players need to arrive at hotel to check in (Eat dinner before you arrive). 7:00 pm Leave for field 7:15 pm Watch part of girl’s varsity game before we play. 8:20 pm Begin pre game warm-up for our game 9:00 pm Varsity verse Meade County 11:00 pm Pizza and drinks for players at hotel 12:30 pm Bed check-all players need to be in room for the evening. Bed check could change based on Saturday’s game time. The hotel is about 2.5 miles away from Marion County High School where the field is located. This is a high school field trip, so we are under a few specific guidelines for the trip. The players will be paired (by the coaching staff) four to a room. The players are also under all team and school rules. Any misconduct can result in immediately being sent home, and could also result in a school and/or soccer punishment. Please remember you are representing the boy’s soccer team, Ryle High School, and the Boone County School District.
