• visa - usually can be got at any of the major airports/ports of entry, only people from cenrtain countries need a visa before their visit
• the best time to visit Egypt - from mid-October to May
• dangerous areas: in the middle of Egypt

•  entrance fees:
  • the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx: 40 LE
  • the Great Pyramid of Cheops: 100 LE
  • the Colossi of Memnon: free
  • the Karnak Temple in Luxor: 35 LE
  • the Temple of Luxor: 35 LE

  all in all: 35.7 USD
• getting to Egypt: International Airport in Cairo, travel from US costs around 1000 USD
• from Cairo to Giza and back by bus, probably a few dollars cost
• from Cairo to Luxor by plane, a flight takes approximately 50 minutes, around 250 USD
• Cairo and Luxor have a veriety of hotels, for about 40-60 dollars per night you can find a fairly nice place
• meals: unfortunately I didn't manage to find prices of food in Egypt :(
