This is Daisy, a pup 0ff Buds 1st litter. Her dam is my old Dixie female now owned by Tim Wolfe. Dixie is by Gr Nt Ch Super Jet 6 and my old Ch Levi's Mountain State Brandy. Daisy is under a year old in this photo. She is running and treeing coon alone now and resides here in WV in Wetzel Co. (UPDATE) Just received the word today that Daisy has passed on. She developed kidney problems due to an infection and had to be put down. Her owner is in the process of buying her younger brother. What a loss!! DOB--April, 05
This is Runt, a full sister, litter mate to Daisy(above). Runt is owned by Allan Bissett of Ida May, WV . Runt is the full package. She is a hard hunter, an open trailer, a very good track dog, and an absolute pull pressure, split treeing, hard loud tree dog. She will be 2 years in April. This is Jenny, out of Bud. She is coming 7 months old in this pic. Her Dam is Bennet's Brooke, a full litter mate sister to my Ch Nt Ch Moore's Mountain State Bonnie II,(Cassie).This is her and her 1st coon at 5 months old. We showed it to her and pulled it up a tree and you can see the results. Another example of the natural ability Bud is putting in his pups!! Oh yes, she also has a whopper of a mouth. This is Abby. She is a pup off the 2nd cross with Bud & Dixie. She is 15 months old in this photo and has been running and treeing coon sense 9 months old. She has a very nice mouth, is very independent, and is a VERY hard, chop mouth tree dog. She has been hunted alone most of her life and can and will get the job done. NITE CH AMMONS MIDNIGHT RINGO
This is Ringo, a 5 month old pup owned by Mike Ammons. He is out of Bud and Ch Nt Ch Moore's Mountain State Bonnie II AKA "Cassie" . This pup will give the cat all it wants and has been going with the old dogs as far as they want to go. He is starting to open on trail and bark at the tree. He is also a very good looking "all blue" pup. He is already about 55 lbs and has that big booming mouth. Give Mike a call. Same number as above. DOB -- 07/15/07 (UPDATE) Mike informed me that Ringo is running and treeing his own coon at 10 months old. Real live wild coon alone in the woods after dark. From hunt, to track, to tree. This dog is also an extremely good looking dog with a HUGE mouth. (Update) Mike finished Ringo to Nite Ch at 19 months old in only 3 hunts with a 1st and two 2nds!
This is Mountain State Rose Bud, AKA," Rosie". Rosie is a litter mate to Mike's Ringo pup above. She is just 6 & 1/2 months in this photo. This was her 2nd time in the woods. Prior to this, she had never been out of the yard. She is the all blue dog in front, treed with her mother, Cassie. Rosie has a very nice chop mouth and will tree on real coon scent. I took this pic last night (01/31/08) before I brought the coon down. After I gathered everything up, ie..walking stick, camera, coon, gun and a nice deer shed i found, I was leading Cassie and let Rosie run loose. I had to go back to get Rosie off the tree, she was still treeing on scent. I have VERY high hopes for this little gal. She acts a lot like her dad, Bud. DOB -- 07/15/07 ( UPDATE) Rosie has been sold to Nathan Lilly of Moundsville WV. Nathan called and said that he is very pleased with Rose Bud. She is treeing coon on a regular basis!
This is Pounder, a pup off Bud & Cassie, a litter mate to the 2 above pups. Pic was taken on Feb. 1st, 08. This makes this pup 6 and 1/2 months in this photo. This is also his 1st night in the woods ever. We put a coon down and made a drag and this is the result. He also treed with Cassie before the coon came down. He is all blue, about 60 lbs and has a big booming mouth. So far, this has been a super cross. Stand by for more news later. (Update) Pounder is now in Manington WV and I recieved word that he is treeing coon every night! DOB -- 07/15/07
This is Steel, a pup owned by John Boumeester, of St Paul MN. Steel is off the cross of Bud and Ch Nt Ch Breeze,( owned by Wayne Hanson in OH.). John says Steel started treeing at 5 months old and began tracking soon after. He is around 8 months old in this photo and you can see the snow in the back ground. John says that Steel is the FULL package. He will be a year old in Aug of 08. Wayne Hanson sent word that there is a litter mate to steel in PA that is running and treeing coon on its own.
Bandit is owned by my good friend Tim Wolfe here in Fairmont WV . He was bought from Wayne Hanson of Ohio. Wayne did a fine job with this young hound. Bandit is about 75 lbs, all blue, very LOUD, and a real looker. He runs and trees his own coon and has plenty of go power. Bandit is a full litter mate to Steel in the above photo. Tim hopes to finish him out after some serious hunting time.
I Just got this male back from a friend that had no time to hunt him. His name is Sarge and he is a year and a half old at this time in Nov. of 09. He had been on the chain for all his life but you can see his natural ability. This is a coon hide drag I layed for him. He had only seen 1 coon in his life before this. He is a long way from a coon dog but he displays all the tools. He is chop all the way with a few rolling bawls along the way. He is also the biggest pup I have seen out of Bud. Sarge is the second cross off Bud and Cassie which would make him a brother to Nt Ch Ringo above.
