Welcome to 8th Grade! Hey Everyone! For students in my class....WELCOME! My name is Mr. Rust and this is my third year here at Hornedo MS. I teach Science and Sci-Tech. I like to incorporate labs and activities whenever possible. It will be a super busy year, but we will learn tons and hopefully have a great time at the same time. I look forward to a fun year. Structure of the classroom Everyday students need: Pencil or pen, paper, science book, notebook and guided reading. The calendar for the week is always posted on the board in my room. Students copy this down first thing on Monday and all students should have this in their notebook. The board is the best way to keep up to date on when assignments are due or what has been assigned. The late policy is as follows: 1 Day Late= 70% 2 Days Late= 50% 3 Days Late= 0% This is a school policy, so there are no exceptions. I will post updates here when possible.
