Thank you for visiting my web portfolio! Whether you are a friend or a professional contact, I hope you find some useful information in these pages.
Rusmir Musić (pronounced roo-smear moose-itch) hails from Bosnia and Herzegovina. At age 17, he left war-ravaged Bosnia and came - on his own - to the United States. Since then he has lived in some of America's greatest cities, pursuing diverse interests, and is now exploring careers in renewable energy and sustainability. Rusmir's education has provided him a unique set of experiences in sciences, humanities, and business. He received his BA in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. His MA Thesis in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University was recently published in an essay compilation. He is now an MBA student at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he is a Connelly Scholar, the school's highest distinction. Rusmir has written and presented on a variety of topics, has been published in books, journals, and on the Web, and has started programs and initiatives which have garnered national attention. He is currently being profiled by Business Week as one of featured bloggers (see links under Profiles in Press). After a successful career in higher education, his passion for the environment and social change has led him to interning for the Sustainability Division of Washington Gas and volunteering with the Sustainable Business Network of Washington.
