The Sixth Annual Run 4 Lindy Road Race will take place on Sunday, July 1st, 2012. Proceeds will go to the Jimmy Fund. My purposes for doing this are twofold.

I would like to honor my aunt’s memory. June 28th will be the tenth anniversary of her death, at the age of 49. Linda Arrigo Corbett continues to be my primary motivating force in raising funds for cancer research. In addition to my aunt we will be remembering all residents of Canton and their loved ones who have battled this dreaded disease while taking a positive approach and raising money for research to develop a cure.

I have been involved with Dana Farber for the past eleven years running in four Boston Marathons and riding in four Pan Mass Challenges. An avid runner myself and a concerned humanitarian, I would like to establish an activity that involves our local residents who also like to run. By participating in this event, it allows everyone involved to join together for the greater good by contributing funds for cancer research while enjoying a healthy activity.

We will run a four mile course starting and ending in the rear parking lot of St. John School.
