Rudraksham is formed by association of two words, 'RUDRA' and 'AKSHAM' . Rudra is the name of Lord Shiva. Aksham means 'tear'. It is said that the plant of Rudraksham is originated from the tear drops of Lord Shiva, as per the vedic scriptures. Shastras say that Rudraksham of any mukhis can never do any harm to the wearer. |
