  • Habitat for Humanity  --  Organization that helps build affordable homes for low income families
    • Help with building and construction on Saturdays in October, November, and December
    • Site hosts needed for Saturday Mornings  --  check in volunteers for one and a half hours (after training, you can schedule yourself as your time permits)

  • Elijah's Promise  --  Organization that cooks and serves meals for the homeless
    • Located in Rutgers Territory on 18 Neilson St.
    • Volunteer Shifts are     < Mon. - Fri.  8:30 am - 12:30 pm>    <Mon. - Fri.  5:00 pm - 7:30 pm>   <Sat.& Sun. 3:00 pm - 5 pm>

  • Great Expectations  --  Residential treatment centert for homeless women and teens and their children
    • Headquarters in Somerville, NJ. Offices recently opened in Somerset.
    • Help is needed to organize, clean, and to do office work and small work

  • Franklin Township Food Bank
    • Volunteers needed on Mondays, Thursdays and the Following Saturdays: Oct 4th, Oct 18th, Nov 1st, Nov 15th, Nov 22nd, Dec 6th, Dec 20th

  • Literacy Tutoring  --  help adults improve their literacy skills
    • Located in Somerset County
    • Monthly Orientation meetings should be attended to provide information and to answer your questions
    • Provide at least one hour of instruction weekly
