Lisa Kislingbury Anderson
Storyteller | Passionate community member

Lisa grew up around her hometown newspaper and gleaned from her father a love of community, people and narrative journalism. That foundation fuels her today as she combines her background in communications with her passion for social justice and activism.

Dreams and post-grad opportunities make Lisa tick. Her life philosophy, "Barefootin," stems from a summer spent interning at an alternative weekly and living with a Southern writer. Barefootin' means to release your fears and get your feet muddy –– to be immersed in something deeper than yourself.

Lisa reports for The Sandy Post, volunteers for Planned Parenthood, collaborates on a start-up magazine, and immerses herself in Portland, Ore., where she has lived since graduating college. She dreams of pursuing a career combining communications and women's advocacy. Lisa will always barefoot from one adventure to the next.
