Research Assistant

  • Project: The Navigation and Control of Moon Rover Based on Machine Vision
  • Sponsor: Core program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 60534070)
  • Advisor: Prof. Liu Jilin
  • Was responsible for conducting surveys on the solutions of moon rover power problems;
  • Evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of various algorithms in robot localization and tried to solve the robot localization problems under the environment of the moon;
  • Studied the Self-Calibrating Pseudolite Arrays, evaluated the Linear and Quadratic Iterative Least Squares algorithm and improved the Sequential Monte Carlo algorithm in moon rover Localization.

  • Conducted research on different computer network technologies including Jini, OSGi (Open Services Gateway Initiative) and UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). 
  • Developed a Jini home network environment.
