Student reports to define who is the lowest 25% of each grade level will be available on CIM and SCANTRON. Keith Van Rhein will be conducting a PD on 9-23 to show you how to access these.
Come by my office anytime to check out the professional library. There are books to help you teach just about ANYTHING! You want to teach your students how to write a research paper in a science class? There is a book for that. You want to know how to teach gifted students in the regular classroom? Yes, I have that too.
There are too many to list. I invite you to come by my office to see what is there.
Now that you have the cut off's for Tier 2 and 3 students, what do I do now? Monitor the progress of all the students. The students who scored below the cut off may be doing just fine, but continue to monitor them and the others. Remember, the percentile cut off's are just a tool, not the end all be all. Intervene when necessary to help all our students achieve. Side note... A student should not remain stagnant. Our goal is to move ALL of our students to Tier 1!
