I am a computer science graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Early employers were the MIT C. S. Draper Lab, Masstor Systems Corporation and 3Com Corporation. My longest and latest professional tenure was at TIBCO Software from which I retired in 2002. During retirement, I have kept my hand in by serving as an advisor and on the boards of some small technology companies in Silicon Valley and the Tahoe Sierra. My interests include amateur radio, flying, skiing, SCUBA diving, fishing, hiking, community service and liturgical chanting. Ann enjoys sewing, crochet, costumery, puzzles, fantasy novels and Rennaisance Faires. Our son Jeremy, a computer science graduate of Cornell University, works in IT support at Stanford University. He lives in San Jose with his wife, Laurie and our extremely cute toddler grandson, Corwin. Our son Dan is working for Union Square Hospitality Group of New York City, pursuing a passion for the hospitality industry that he honed at Cornell University and the Culinary Institute of America. He is currently posted in Miami Beach where he is managing USHG's latest Shake Shack. Please enjoy my little Web site. Originally a contrived exercise that helped me to learn a little about Web page building, it has become a repository for brief essays on ideas and hobbies. If you like it, please sign my guestbook and point others to the site.
