Normally in the summer RP Party runs like it does for the rest of the year. This year however is different. Nuchtchas and Tek have just moved provinces and are still living in a box fort so scheduled gaming time is not easy at the moment. Things will be getting busy soon in August too so until September RP Party will not be guaranteed to have the regular host. Here is the deal. I have a possible conflict for tomorrow night. I just got back from Balticon and due to this a podcast recording I was to attend was pushed back to the same time as RP Party this week. I would bail out, but last time RP Party was set up no one showed up. So my question to you is who is coming? Or should I push RP Party off till next week? Let me know so I can plan and have a game ready for when we do play.

We had a blast, there was a melee battle held and lots of fun. Tonight AoV won the MVP award for his performance too, so that was fun.

Wednesday April 6th Are
you a fan of A Song of Ice and Fire? Game of Thrones? Looking forward
to the upcoming HBO series? Or even if you have no idea what I'm
talking about but would love to play a medieval fantasy type of game....
come on down to RP Party this Wednesday for a RolePlay of Ice and fire. We
are setting this in the time of Dunk and Egg (The Hedge Knight, a
generation before A Game of Thrones starts) and no one may play a canon
character (Lets not muck up what George wrote. Create a character
for the setting and keep in mind this is a one shot game (so you can
even create someone with the intention of them dying if you want) and
the game will center around a tourney, so pick a character that would be
involved with the games. If you need help creating/building a
character feel free to ask for some help from Nuchtchas, Tek or AoV :)

So last night's game was a success, we had a fun tribble themed story (where all but one of the players had no idea they were getting into tribbles) and it was loads of fun. As for MVP it was a close race with many votes going around but in the end we had a clear winner. Tek has earned his first MVP balloon for all his great roleplaying with tribbles, poor Mrs Fluffles. Not all that big into Star Trek? Come anyway, this is something the Trekkie will love and the non trekkie can laugh at too.

So tonight's game "Death Trap" was a roaring success. Roaring success as in it got everyone playing and having a blast, though not so successful as in the fact that the party didn't make it out.... yet. We will continue this at another time. When? Well I will try and coordinate a time with the players involved. I don't normally do this, but this was too much fun not to try and finish. So everyone involved expect to hear from me soon.
Also, in a landslide (first one yet) Cat/Twiggy was named MVP of the game. Perhaps showing up naked might have had something to do with that? Or the humor and great one liners... either way it was a blast and I was glad to see this winner get her due.
