Exalted Tools

Here are some dice rolling programs for Story Teller games. They default to settings for Exalted, but can be customized to most Story Teller games.

I've now updated (Aug. 31) the dice roller with a new and easier to use interface:

• Built for Sony T610 phones: SXDice.jar SXDice.jad
• Built for Nokia phones running S60 OS: XDice.jar
  

I've also written an Exalted die roller for Palm OS (it probably only works on 3.5 or later). This one is not currently customizable.

The following is a JAVA phone program for keeping track of ticks and whose turn it is. This is a beta version. You can enter a speed for each character on their turn, or you can press 0 to specify the aim action, which allows the option to abort on each of the 3 ticks after. You can also save information about the players since that is likely to remain constant. You enter the Join Battle dice number and the dice are rolled automatically for each character.  Let me know if there are any bugs or if there are any other useful features I should try and implement (or just if you like the software).

Version 2.0 is now here, complete with built in easy to use dice roller.

• Tick counter for phones (updated Sept. 2): XTix.jar

Here is a pc tick counter (it also rolls dice). To use the tick counter you need to make sure to have the text configuration file in the same directory when you run the program and you need at lest one player in the file.

To use it as just a dice roller, don't include the text file or have 0 players in it (though it rolls dice from any prompt when used as a tick counter as well). Updated Sept. 3.
