A. Roy Bowden taught social workers, counsellors, therapists, students and health professionals in social service settings for over thirty years. He was a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Massey University, a Senior Lecturer and Head of School for Counselling and Human Development programmes in a Wellington tertiary institution and has designed a number of diploma and degree programmes. He is a former President of the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists and a keynote speaker at international conferences. Roy is now a Director of Mana Consultancy.
