Rowan Club Tennis

Biographies

Erik Pfeiffer - VP
I'm a senior at Rowan majoring in Physics and Mathematics. I've been playing tennis since freshman year of high school.  I'm always available to hit, just call me up.  Right now I'm torn between using my awesome two-handed backhand or switching over to my worse, albeit more sexy, one-handed backhand.

Kristin Pucca

I am an senior Elementary, Writing Arts Major.  I have been playing tennis since freshman year of high school.  I mostly play singles and like it the best, but I also like to play doubles; it doesn't matter as long as I am playing the game and having fun.

Kristen Medved - President
I am a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication. Tennis has always been some part of my life and I wouldn't have it any differenly; whether it be watching it or playing the game. I like to play doubles with a friend, or singles to really get into the game.

Noah Gedrimas

I have been playing tennis for five years. I started as a freshman for Saint Augustine as JV doubles. Then as a sophomore I was JV singles. As a junior I played at second doubles Varsity winning a state championship. But all my awards were won my senior year at first doubles. My partner and I were Cape Atlantic champions and Daily Press Players of the year. My freshman year of college I played singles and doubles for Rowan Club and had a winning record. I like movies.

I have been playing tennis for 12 years. I was first doubles mostly in high school, while also playing third singles and second doubles here and there. I feel my strengths are my groundstrokes and aggresiveness. Guitar is my other main hobby. My major is Finance and i look to become a financial planner in the future. Federer is the man because for 4 years straight he dominated in such incredible fashion, i mean he even finaled at the french 3 times in a row while winning everything else. Savagee.

Jared Haase

I've been playing tennis for four years. I've played mostly doubles but I feel as though I can really shine through in singles someday.I feel my strength lies in my speed and my two-handed backhand. My major is political science. David Nalbandian is the best player to never win a slam. He can take on a destroy any player on tour on any given day - one day he will have his moment in the sun.

James Angud

I've been playing tennis since I was 7 years old. I began competitive tennis in 8th grade participating junior matches and tournaments in the USTA. I played varsity all 4 years of high school playing mostly doubles and some singles matches, winning a majority of my matches all the way up into Tri-County tournament every year. I played 2 years at Gloucester County College, winning the regional tournament and qualifying for the NJCAA Tournament in Plano, TX 2 years in a row and finished 3rd in the nation. My strengths are my speed, and my volleys due to my doubles training. I am a Bio/Pre-med major at Rowan University and I plan on going to medical school after I graduate. My favorite player of all time has to be Roger Federer. I try to copy his style of play because of its fluidity and power. Plus I love his hair and at the US Open I asked him to sign my baby.

Kelly McVeigh
