Welcome to the Rootstown Rover Band Home Page

The Rootstown Local School Bands include approximately 250 students in a variety of performing ensembles,  extra-curricular ensembles,  and many other performing opportunities.   Our mission is to encourage a passion for the musical arts in all of our students and offer them the skills needed to excel and achieve excellence in musical performance.  

 

        Band Director, Grant Richardson, is beginning his 11th year as Director of Bands in Rootstown.  In his 15th year of teaching, Director Grant Richardson brings a wide experience in Classical, Jazz, Popular, and Choral Genres to his classroom.
