Big Barn Day

posted Sep 25, 2011 5:10 PM by Donna Rouster

We want to thank all who visited us on September 23-24.  We sold down our inventory to a point that it doesn't warrant our being open anymore days in 2011.

We plan to open 1 to 2 days in the Spring of 2012 for Big Barn Days.  We will sell inventory out of our freezer, only, which will include cider, blueberries & tart cherries.

If you're interested, please e-mail us so that we can put you on a list to be notified when we determine the dates & times.

Thanks again for your loyal patronage over the years.  We hope to see many of you next spring or summer (at our U-pick blueberries & blackberries).

Inventory Sale: Fri & Sat, Sept. 23-24 from 10-4

Donna & I have semi-retired.  The Apple House is closed, but we will open for an inventory sale on select days during the fall.  A full letter to our customers is on our home page.  We plan to open a couple of days each week until our inventory is depleted starting in late September.  These are items from our country cupboards as well as frozen products including cider, blueberries & tart cherries.  We do not have any fresh apples to sell this year.  The days & hours are on our home page & a general list of products for sale is on "Farm Market Products".

We have sold out of the Pennsylvania peaches, and now it's the time of the season for seedless Concord grapes.

August 17, 2011: Last load of PA peaches has arrived

We have received our final load of peaches for the 2011 season.  The quality of the Pennsylvania peaches has been terrific this year and the demand has been brisk.  The peaches are first come first served so be sure to come out soon before they're gone.  They are available in 38# crates for $36.  They are also packed in smaller quantities.

We are presently out of crates of the Pennsylvania peaches due to overwhelming demand.  We are in touch with our peach grower and should hear back early next week as to whether he can ship another small load to us.  Please call & leave your name & phone number if you want to be contacted with information once we hear back from our grower.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.
