Cultivated as a competent IT engineer, I strongly believe that my competences spring from creativity, planning and productivity. Trained to exercise technological, entrepreneurial and managerial instincts and the know-how and capabilities to manage technological situations.Being in the offspring of my professional career I can be employed as a multidisciplinary technological analyst (Consultant, Process Manager) and as a decision-maker working in technology management or consulting positions. Assessing and realizing the value of IT from a business perspective, is important in adapting in a fast changing environment. IT management includes the necessary skills that are required for such a strategic positioning. I believe that, working as an IT consultant, with passion and motivation to develop new opportunities, creates personal value and professional purpose. Currently, I am in pursue of a M.Sc. in "ICT in Business" in the University of Leiden. This program offers 21 courses that cover advanced MBA and IT fields. They provide an in-depth knowledge in marketing management and communications, IT and business strategy formation and implementation, finance, accounting, decision making, organizing, system development, project management, software engineering and IT process innovation. I hold a Bachelor as an "Informatics Engineer" from the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Thessaloniki, Dept. of Informatics. My bachelor thesis titled "Finding Categorical Outliers in Bibliographical Databases" (graded 9 out of 10) was part of a scientific research program that involved two universities, was proposed for publication in an ASIS&T conference in '07 and currently is being used as an exemplary thesis in the department. The educational background covers algorithms, programming languages and methodologies, software engineering, software quality, project management, information systems, computer and network systems, intelligent systems, information security, as well as a CCNA in 2007 with 84% overall. My working experience background covers software development, analysis and engineering in ParaBot Services B.V. as well as a system administration assistant in NATO. Personally, I am interested in IT, Innovation and Management. My aim is to deepen my knowledge and practices as well as maintaining a view for the future. |
