Hi, I'm Kim and this is my boy KC. I’m proud to be a Rough Rider member, since 2009! I didn't grow up with horses but, as with most girls, I dreamed of them my whole life. At 30 I finally realized that dream when my dad bought me a Tennesse Walker named Kizmet - it was truly fate that I found her and she was my best friend for nearly 16 years. KC has been in my life since 2007, he's a roping horse and has alot of spunk and flash, he has Kizzy's sweetness and gives hugs like she did - a perfect combination! Since starting drill I’ve discovered so much about myself, the horse part is just the tip of the iceberg! Joining this team has truly been a blessing for me, has kept me sane, and awakened my passion for anything horses in ways I never imagined possible! Drill has taken me out of my box, introduced me to a group of incredible, loving new friends, promoted my self-confidence, bonded me and my horses faster and in ways nothing else can compare, and has increased my riding skills ten-fold. I love this sport! No matter how I may feel, no matter the weather, or what life's situation may be on any given day, I can't help but smile and giggle when I'm around horses! Although we aren’t riding members this year, KC has an injury that takes several months to rehab, we will support RR in any way we can! ROUGH RIDERS ROCK and I love being a part of such a great team, riding or not!!!
